Hench Herbivore

We don't usually write about fitness but we've made an exception for Hench Herbivore as he is so inspiring. I've been attending Phoenix Gym for a while now and I love it, its a no-nonsense get stuck in kinda place. After the Christmas break I'd put on weight and was thinking about overhauling my diet as well as fitness, when I noticed on the Phoenix Facebook page one of the trainers had a new website called, Hench Herbivore, he had me at the name.
I had a chat with Paul on Friday and his star pupil Steve, Steve has lost six stone in a year through workouts, and reversed some serious health issues by adhering to a plant-based diet. I've been wanting to edge my diet towards veganism for a while, but it seemed like a big step. After talking to Paul it makes a lot of sense, he has so much knowledge and honestly the guy is glowing with health. Paul offers a free consultation service so if you wanted to have a chat get in contact via his website or Facebook page, (both are linked in this article).
I had my first training session with Paul today, admittedly I was nervous about it, but I needn't have been. The back workout was grueling but that's what I wanted, and we finished with some high intensity interval training (HIIT) which looked terrifying when I'd seen his other clients doing it but actually it was lots of fun and more importantly it gets results. Paul asked me to keep a food diary for the nutrition advice, which in iteslf has made me think more about what I'm eating, I don't want to write a whole lot of crappy food down, it's embarrasing! All in all I'm feeling pretty great right now, I wonder how much it will hurt in the morning?
