The Dandy Horse

The Dandy Horse is another place I'd been meaning to go for aaaaaages, as usual I mixed business with pleasure and took my brother and his girlfriend to lunch. The cafe is really inviting and if you like bikes it's double good, the workshop is out the back but you can see what's going on and have a chat about all things velo. We ordered some bagels I went for the Mama Mia, my brother had the Ultimate as it included pretty much all of his favourite ingredients ever and Julie went for a classic tuna melt. There are vegan options on request, I think you could pretty much create your own, nothing is too much trouble for the Dandy Horse guys. We were offered a £5 Droplet voucher if we downloaded the app so that was a nice touch when we came to pay. We sat upstairs which is cosy, there's an outside terrace too with bikes and kitsch decorations, this part reminded me of Brighton. The food arrived and it was so on point, my vegetables were soft and so well marinated, very enjoyable, my brothers Ultimate was somehow scooped up and devoured in seconds, which was clearly a massive thumbs up, he also loved the Monkey Business shake. Dogs are welcome which is great for a dog botherer like me, so to sum up, another place I wish I hadn't left so long before visiting!
