42 King Street

No.42 is a lovely little bar and restaurant, they serve breakfast rolls from 10am, lunches, world tapas and cocktails galore. It's an intimate venue with some great interior touches, they've used local artists to put some zing on the walls, behind the bar was painted by Anmar Mirza and the tables are adorned with bottles painted by Liam Clark, you might even spot one of my pineapples.
The food is great quality and locally sourced and the menu is constantly changing so you'll never get bored of going, I really enjoyed the battered jalapenos and sweet potato dish last time I went. They've recently started opening for Sunday lunch, I took my girls to test it out and they gave it a double thumbs up, and they're really hard to please! The vegan nut roast was delicious, I couldn't have asked for a nicer roast or a nicer place to eat it.
