In December, The National Centre for Writing welcome Adam Kammerling to lead The TOAST Workshop. A U.K Slam Champion and theatre maker, Adam will show you new and exciting ways to craft and deliver a poem.
The main writing activities will be available where possible on the Toast website after the workshop. The workshops are themed but also designed for writers of all levels and experiences to engage with.
If you receive Jobseekers Allowance, Income Support, Working Tax Credit, Universal Credit, Pension Credit, income-related ESA or if your sole source of income is the state retirement pension, you’re eligible for a free ticket to our workshop.
Events will engage with challenging material and subject matter which some might find triggering. However, there will always be spaces that participants can go if they need a break at any time
